Sreekar Mothukuri was an Engineer by profession and worked in the corporate world for 14 years as an SAP consultant, of which he spent the last ten years in the United States. Growing up, he always wanted to be a cricket player; but coming from a small place and lacking proper knowledge and guidance, he could not pursue his passion. He believes every person who has an athletic dream can reach their full potential with proper guidance, knowledge, exposure, and support at the right time.

He started Dream About Sports in 2013 to help parents gain the knowledge and experience required to raise a champion. Parents who are raising their kids in sports also have a lot of self-doubts like, “Will my child make it big in sports? what happens if they cannot make it big? Is it really worth the time and money? How to balance sports and education? and so on. At Dream About Sports, we provide interviews with Champion’s Parents and Coaches, Schools, Nutritionists, Sports Psychologists and Fitness trainers who play a very big role in raising a champion. These interviews will help the parents of future sports stars in raising a champion.

With all the information he gained over the years, he organized the information in a step-by-step process by authoring two sports parenting books "Behind a sports champion" and "Child to Champion." The books are available worldwide on Amazon.
